back where we belong and a special finish

We made it back up North on Friday afternoon. The weather has been slightly cloudy for the most part with temps in the low 20’s which is perfect for knitting. Umaro has seen some love and I will put some pictures up tomorrow. The rain has started today so the solar panels aren’t receiving any power, meaning that I should keep this brief in order to conserve my battery.

Before we left, I was able to finally finish a rather special project which I had posted about before. Adrienne’s scarf – the feather and fan fingering weight beauty is finally finished and in the hands of it’s lovely recipient. When one has a friend who crafts, they are the best people to bestow a hand crafted gift as you know the time, effort and skill will be truly appreciated. I think she likes it and I’m happy knowing that it will keep her warm next winter. This is Canada after all, one can never have too many winter accessories.

It’s spectacular … and it makes me wish (just a tiny bit) for winter. I love it almost as much as I love you! Thank you my dear.
