I’m trying, really trying but it’s been a not so great week. A knee (re)injury has me super crabby as John can attest to and a stack of work that has been keeping me from myย various projects is slowly being whittled away.
Winter has finally arrived to our neck of the Canadian woods, and that has been lovely.
A few minutes here and there have been spent with my other EPP project, which will eventually become a twin quilt for Sarah at the cottage.
And last, but certainly not least as it’s all I can think about (food) this would be the other reason for my poor humour. – “Tis the New Year and one must remain committed to a healthy eating regime.
Bah Humbug.
CARROTS?!!! Waaaaahhhh!!! I feel your pain! No wonder you’re crabby!
I’m jealous of your snow. We have tried snow dances, sleeping with a spoon under the pillow (new one), and putting clothes in the bath tub, but no snow yet. ๐
LOL!! I know – it’s rabbit food I tells ya.
Fingers crossed you get some snow of your own ๐
So sorry about your knee – no fun at all! Love your quilt so far! a craft I’ve always wanted to learn – but never have – but I enjoy looking and reading about them…
I say – dip those carrots into some dip – and it will seem so much better! ha!

I take it you don’t like carrots? I love them! January is a month for meh isn’t it. We had our first blue skies of the year today and boy was it worth the wait! I was feeling meh yesterday but today so much happier ๐
Oh I like carrots just fine – just not as much as I like cookies ๐
Haha. I share your pain. We are on a no sugar eating plan too.
So sorry to hear about your knee – missed you at orchestra on Tuesday!
Those carrots would be tastier in a soup, methinks…
You may not want to know…but the Fabricland on Dundas (just E of Highbury) is closing, and they have all kinds of quilting fabrics that are $3 – $5/meter…
Heal quickly!
I hope when you read this post your knee is all better! I hope so at least. I am loving the snow and we are trying to eat a bit healthier but it’s slow going…
Crabby? I hadn’t noticed…!
